06 Sep Arbor names Scott Jones president of the firm

Arbor Investment Advisors is pleased to announce that Scott D. Jones, CFP® has been named President of the firm.  A 16-year veteran of Arbor, Jones will continue to serve his clients and manage the firm’s finances as CFO.

“Scott Jones brings so many strengths to Arbor.  He has distinguished himself not only as a valued advisor for Arbor’s clients but also as a natural leader within the firm.  During the past two years, Scott led Arbor through a comprehensive upgrade of our key technology applications/partners to better serve our clients.  We now have industry leading portfolio management and financial planning capabilities, enhanced reporting and a digital platform and mobile app.   We are fortunate to have Scott serve as President and continue to lead key initiatives that will help us best serve our clients in the decades ahead,“ said Scott Cawood, CEO and CIO.

Scott Jones earned his bachelor’s degree from Flagler College before achieving a master’s in business administration from Wake Forest University. Scott joined Arbor as a principal in 2006. Active in the community, Scott also volunteers at Samaritan Ministries and River Oaks Community Church and recently completed board terms with the New River Conservancy and the North Carolina Zoo Society.
