Firm celebrates milestone Arbor Day with special gift

This year Arbor Investment Advisors is honored to celebrate Arbor Day and our firm’s 25th anniversary with a special gift to plant trees at the Peter Oliver Pavilion Gallery in Winston-Salem.

This historic project, launched in part by the Creative Corridors Coalition, will be located just one block from our offices near Old Salem on the former plot of land where Peter Oliver had his farm in the early 19th century.

Throughout our firm’s history, Arbor Day has served as an appropriate metaphor for the importance of planting, nurturing, and preserving for one’s financial future. “In our firm’s 25th anniversary year, Arbor Day represents a unique opportunity to connect with our area’s roots,” says Bill Hollan, a principal at the firm. “We are pleased to be able to support a project which has such significant meaning for our community’s history.”

While the project is still in the design phase, the Peter Oliver Pavilion Gallery will be a permanent outdoor gathering and green space with art and educational installations, and covered walkways that connect to the city’s stroll way.

More information about the gallery and the life of Peter Oliver can be found via the Creative Corridors Coalition website.
